Home Group Lessons
Picture Book Series
Our picture book series is set up
slightly different from our other lessons. Each lesson contains a brief story
for the children, along with discussion questions for them. Please allow
10 to 15 minutes for the teaching of the children's lesson after the praise,
worship and prayer time. Adults and children should be together as this
lesson is a stepping stone for the adult lesson.
We have included a series of
pictures for each lesson. Each picture has a caption. These captions
are simple enough to be used to help people learn to read. Many of our
lessons are used overseas. The pictures will help someone who can't read
to remember the story and be able to tell it to others, thereby spreading the
Word of God through storytelling. There is one page with the pictures in sequence.
This can be used as a visual aid in teaching the story. All pictures are
in black and white and suitable for use as coloring pictures for the children.
